Stop code: System Service Exception on Windows 10 PC.


SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION is a blue screen of death errors which also known for its bug check error code of “0x0000003B”. System Service Exception is one of Windows BSOD errors, along with many other ones, such as DPC Watchdog Violation, Bad Pool Header, or System Thread Exception Not Handled. A SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error happens for a few reasons: graphic user interface errors, corrupted system files, and issues with outdated or corrupt drivers amongest others. This BSOD error often occurs in Windows 10, but it can be found in Windows 7 and Windows 8, 8.1 as well.

    Method 1: Remove Windows Update Number KB2778344
    Step 1: Click on Start button and search for Control panel


    Step 2: GO to Programs and then click on Programs and Features.



    Step 3: Now click on View installed updates in the top-left area.


    Step 4: In the search bar on top-right type “KB2778344.”


    Step 5: Now right click on Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2778344) and select uninstall to remove this update.
    Step 6: If asked for confirmation click yes.
    Step 7: Reboot your PC and this should be able to Fix System Service Exception Error in Windows 10.
    Method 2: You can also use Advanced System Repair Tool to fix this error.

    Method 3: Run Windows BSOD Troubleshoot Tool (Only available after Windows 10 Anniversary update)
    Step 1: Type Control Panel in Windows search bar and open it.


    Step 2: Type Troubleshoot in Control Panel search bar and select Troubleshooting.


    Step 3: Click on Hardware and Sound option.


    Step 4: Now from there select Blue screen under Windows.


    Step 5: Now click on Advanced and make sure “Apply repairs automatically” is selected.


    Step 6: Click Next and let the process finish.
    Step 7: Reboot your PC which should able to Fix System Service Exception Error in Windows 10.
